Are there telephone/video consultations?

Currently, we run all consultations via video link – see our booking page.We will be continuing with video consultations indefinitely.

Do you offer both online and in-person appointments?

Yes! We have a range of clinics both online and in-person. You can view all of our clinic locations under Our Clinics.

Can I expect a prescription after the first consultation?

The short answer is, it depends.If your consultation is straightforward, we may prescribe there and then.In more complex cases, younger women, or where other diagnoses may be queried, we may suggest you have some investigations and/or blood tests done first, and then a follow up consultation.These can be done by your GP or privately.

Are we covered by private insurance?

Sometimes. If your policy covers wellness or general practice then often yes, otherwise no.Please check with your Medical Insurance provider.Although Menopause is not often covered by medical insurance, one of our consultants – Endocrinologist Dr Catherine Napier – is a registered provider and on the specialist registered list so you may find that your insurance might be covered with her. Dr Napier can be seen either In-Person at our Durham Clinic or Online Consultation.
